Karlsefri II

The second summer after this, Karlsefni went back to Iceland with his son Snorri and went to his farm at Reyniness. Karls- efni's mother felt he had married beneath him, and she stayed away from his home for the first winter. But when she realized what an exceptional woman Gudrid was she returned home. and they got on well together.

Snorri Karlsefnisson had a daughter called Hallfrid, who was the mother of Bishop Thorlak Runolfsson.

Karlsefni and Gudrid had another son, caned Thorbjom, who was the father of Thorunn, the mother of Bishop Bjom.

Snorri Karlsefnisson had a son called Thorgeir, the father of Yngvild, the mother of the first Bishop Brand.
